2024 Annual Convention

The New Mexico School Boards Association conducted its 2024 Annual Convention December 12-14, 2024. The Convention began Thursday afternoon, December 12 with Pre-Conference Training and our Board of Directors Meeting. On Friday morning, December 13 attendees listened to several informative keynote speakers; attended the Annual Recognition Awards Luncheon and participated in the Annual Delegate Assembly to adopt legislative priorities and elect state officers. The Convention continued on Saturday, December 14 with several breakout sessions on important school governance and public education topics.

2025 Board Member Institute
February 13-15, 2025
Santa Fe, NM
The New Mexico School Boards Association will conduct the 2025 Board Institute during the Annual Legislative Session in Santa Fe which will allow board members an opportunity to advocate for education priorities with State Legislators. The Board Institute features informative general sessions and a variety of workshops and webinars on school governance and public education topics.

2025 School Law Conference
June 5-7, 2025

The New Mexico School Boards Association and the Cuddy and McCarthy Law Firm will host the 46th Annual School Law Conference for school board members, superintendents and school personnel. The conference features presentations on the latest legal issues facing public education and includes numerous breakout sessions to assist new and veteran school board members, administrators and educators.
